ORION OVL200 4/4 Size Violin Outfit
Combining fine artwork and highly skilled luthier craft makes the OVL200 violin. The 200 Series carries a beautifully crafted spruce and maple wood, marked with subtle aging features and light gloss finish. Thoughts were initially directed to suit violinists from high-school to tertiary-education students looking at playing expressively, at an affordable price.
5 year solid maple
a fresh set of quality strings make a world of difference to the tone, which is why our violins are fitted with the synthetic core Pirastro Tonica*.
Carved and fitted bridge
a bridge is responsible for transmitting the vibration of the strings to the body of the violin. Each bridge must have the right thickness, angle, height and curvature.
Precision soundpost set-up
not only does the soundpost provide structural support, it also allows vibration to be passed between the top and back plates.
Adjusted nut height & curvature
shaped to fit each individual violin for ease of tuning and to prevent pegs slipping
to make playing comfortable with a lower action, especially in the higher registers
Each OVL200 is individually assembled, set up, and inspected by our experienced luthiers before the instrument is in your hands.
